Greetings from Regent St dear Friends

Today saw Miss Periwinkle and Monsieur Firmin working their magic in the grand gardens of the Mansion !

Our charming pair of inspired Gardeners were very busy laying the quintessential English lawns and creating the vegetable plot.

A cheerful glass of white grape juice was welcomed at the end of such a busy day !

In the following pictures, you will be able to see the transformation of the gardens from paper templates to lawn and soil with an aerial view of the gardens to see the overall effect.

You will also see a aerial view of Regent St including the gardens extending to the Summer Pavillion.

In the final pictures, I invite you to have an insight of the "things to come"...

Our Friends still have to lay the brick pavements in the alleys, hopefully today, and add a few topiary touches to the gardens.

The final touches will come in the shape of the elevated lawn area and the grand fountain still highlighted in purple as well as the flower beds which will bring a definite touch of color and Springtime to the Gardens of the Mansion on Regent St !

Good evening from Regent St dear Friends !

What a busy day this has been !

It is Saturday on Regent St and yet Miss Periwinkle and Monsieur Firmin have been working since the morning laying the brick pavement for the alleys and the warm terracotta color has immediately transformed the scenery.

Our two Friends then went on by adding topiary trees to the scenery, and four streetlamps in the circle surrounding the future grand fountain.

The last finishing touches of the day were two large urns guarding each side of the grand staircase and two statues at the entrance of a pergola upon which roses will soon be climbing.

My initial vision of the project definitely came to life with today’s works and I am very grateful to Miss Periwinkle and Monsieur Firmin for bringing their magic touch in the Gardens on Regent St !

Have a great week-end  8-)!

Wow, another very busy day for you gardeners! I'm amazed how much they got done in one day! Be sure to give them some time to rest up.  ;) It looks beautiful so far, Karim, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more.
