Thank you so much dear Friends

Before introducing the next instalment of my project, I would like to share with you two little tips with regards to the decoration of the Victorian Mansion.
In 2009, I had been looking for a while for a realistic flooring to create a wooden parquet effect for the Grand Room and I finally found it online on the dollshouseparade.net website :
Texture Flooring Parquet ( 50cm x 35cm ) @ £9.95
It has the right texture and does look incredibly realistic with the wooden effect and light reflection.
With regards to the decoration of the Great Room, I was looking for something slightly different from the typical Victorian patterns and florals, and I decided for a wood panelling for the bottom part of the wall :
Texture Wood Effect Panelling ( 53cm x 7.5 cm ) @ £2.95
For the top part of the wall, I was looking for a mural rather than a wallpaper and I fell in love with this Tudor frieze :
Tudor Frieze ( 44cm x 11cm ) @ £2.50
Similar amazing designs are available at dollhouseroomdesigns.com :
Wall Murals ( 25cm x 10cm ) @ £3.50 each

Another busy day on Regent St which saw the talented Lady Edwina Weldon, also nicknamed "Silver Scissors" resuming the decoration of the Grand Room. Such a busy working day called for a welcoming cup of tea, of course, served by Becky & Mariette ! Lady Charlotte and her Aunt were very impressed with the works and delighted to be offered a parrot by Lady Edwina as a special thank you ! A parrot was a signature feature in every Victorian Mansion of some importance and we are welcoming today Bonaparte, the Macaw Parrot !

And as Lady Edwina and the Staff of the Mansion were discussing today's events on the front porch of the Mansion, a sumptuous carriage lead by Wilfried the Coachman made its grand entrance on Regent St to deliver a mysterious beauty dressed in a red velvet cloak. The Lady then made her way through the grand gardens towards the Summer Pavillion as we are welcoming...
Maria Malibran created by my Friend Sarrat from Spain ( Playclicks )Maria Malibran was the first superstar of the early Victorian Era as a Opera Singer celebrated all over Europe. Her performance will be the final act of the festivities of the Summer Garden Party on Regent St.

Have a great week-end
