were the glasses candles and little shield from the first 3666  castles silver plated?? i bought in in 1999 and they were gray but check this 3666 castle the small shield of the boy is silver plated and the glasses and the candles? :help: :eh?:

No they were not silver plated in any 3666 off-the-peg set.

Several pieces have clearly been added to this 3666 auction from other sets.

yes i thought of that but the small shield  that the kid has hasn't been included in any other set or there was another set that had that??

No the plates in this original set were  grey. These silver ones were added by the seller! The shield was originaly included in this set...

you are correct it is from those sets i never thought of that it looks the same but it could not be that :lens:
