Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum!
My name is Lars and I live in Belgium.
I just started collecting Playmobil.
For now, I'm especially interested in finding some help and tips restoring a 3750 (3053) pirate ship...

Welcome from the South Eastern USA, Lars! You have found a very unique & supportive group of collectors that will be able to assist you with you new hobby! Can you help us help you with some pictures & descriptions of your project so we know what areas of your 3750 project are in the most dire straits? We look forward to helping you with your Pirate ship! Did you always enjoy Playmobil through your childhood or did you only recently start discovering this excellent toy?

When I was a kid I've spent many hours playing with Playmobil. Now that my son is getting old enough for Playmobil I rediscovered this great toy. He is quite obsessed by pirates and that is why I'd like to restore a 3750 ship.
I don't have it in my hands yet, but I think next week it will arrive. That is why I'm already trying to get as much info on what I will be needing for it.
I will post pictures from the moment I have it in my possession.

Welcome Lars,

I've done a similar 3750 ship restoration, I think everything except the cannon is available as a DS order direct from Playmobil, so once you have it in your hands work out what you need to replace, make a list with descriptions and the part numbers, and just order the parts direct from Playmobil.

You can check Playmodb for the parts and their numbers, and don't forget to check the 3053 set as well, as it's nearly identical.


I hope you and your son have many happy hours playing with your re-discovered Playmobil!

Are the klickies also available through DS or should I look for missing ones on an auction site...

I just opened a thread with a picture of the auction of the ship...

Welcome from Greece Lars!! I did a 3750 restoration last summer!!! Wow what a chalenge!!! Its was very hard to find all the mast and rigging attachments!!! The cannons were a bit expensive and i still have not found any sails..... :( :( :(

But i am overall very happy with the result because it was my first restoration project with a great challenge!!!
You're lucky you can find most of the part from DS Belgium!!!

Wish you all the luck with your project and hope you have a great time in the forum!!!
