Hey, maybe we can buy it, set up a war between its knights and the real playmobil knights, who will eventually win and, to wash off the offence, burn it to the ground.... :evilplan:

That it looks so similar to Playmo and that there is probably some mysterious character out there sitting in a dark dimly lit room hand crafting these disgusting monstrosities just to make a small profit for themselves and secretly rebel against Playmobil and then start taking over the world >:( >:( >:(

Or that's just me being my usual paranoid self ::)

Playmobil do not have exclusive rights to making toy castles. In the auction pictures there are figures that are clearly not Playmobil, which ought to warn the unwary. Several forum members have bought non-Playmobil castles knowing they weren't Playmobil and have been very happy with the mixture. In the days before Playmobil started making their own castles, that was the only way we could have a Castle to go with our Knights!

I doublt it would be worth an individual's time and effort to manufacture these, they're probably made in a factory in China, and the pictures deserve a place in the Museum of Not-Playmobil.

What you say is quite true, Martin.  Sometimes it is necessary to mix Playmobil and non-Playmobil together and it works well.  I do it myself with some vehicles and when I once apologised to my friend at Playmobil for having a mix of Playmobil and non-Playmobil vehicles in a display her reply was that it was no problem as no toy manufacturer made everything and so you sometimes had to mix makes.

On the lighter side, Martin, I think flatcat was jesting.   :)
