As noted in my previous topic about the newly developed Playmobil City International Airport Fire Department taking delivery of the new fire engines 21, 22, & 23, there would be additional apparatus added to the two stations as they became available from the Playmobil City Emergency Apparatus Repair Division. The three new arrivals are the latest of the finished projects. They are ARFF Aircraft Crash Foam Tender units 24 & 25. Unit 25 has had its SCORPION TAIL NOZZLE upgraded with a CCTV camera, & a remote multi pattern water nozzle for higher elevation fire knock downs. Unit 24 was designed & built with the standard Foam Tender options of two remote roof monitor turrets, 1 remote lower ground monitor turret, & two side dual hose reels for firefighter attack hose lines. The third vehicle added to the PCIAFD line up is the refurbished Fire Chiefs response car. All customized 3526 fire engines are able to be returned to their original state if original parts in excellent condition are able to be found.

I hope you enjoy the new apparatus, & remember there will be more added as they become completed.

Those are some beautiful machines that you have created Bill, and are very detailed indeed - do they work? I pressume they do :hmm

I would simply love a 3526 in my collection but they are extremely rare to find in the UK (so much that I have never seen one for sale) :(

Beautiful custom work, Bill!

I have a couple of 3525's in my Playmobil collection. Now, after seeing your fantastic customs, I could kick myself for never adding a 3526 when I had the chance.

Thank you very much for sharing your creative talent and your incredible attention to detail!

All the best,
Richard

Thank you everyone for your positive compliments regarding these lastest projects! Hopefully in the near future I will be finishing the work on the last 4 x 3526 custom fire engines to be able to present them before the work begins on the large photo story of the Plane Crash at Playmobil City International Airport in which all of these units will be shown in action.

To answer your question flatcat, the original fire engines 21, 22, & 23 are almost 90 to 100% original & the hose on the side hose reels are solid so water will not pass through them at all. The water monitor/cannons back in the 1980's were not designed to shoot water either, so mostly these engines will be used in background pictures, & not actually pumping water like Crash Tenders 24 & 25. Units 24 & 25 have self contained foam & water pumping systems that will actually shoot water, & with T1 & T2 supplying a water source will continually pump until the tankers exhaust their water supply. Unit 26 & 27 are currently being outfitted as Super Heavy Duty Rescue Tenders with new equipment, multiple rescue tools, & systems! These projects take a lot of time to work on, especially when designing them to be able to return to their original fire engine status with no permanent alterations including Crash Tenders 24 & 25.

Wow Bill, another incredible lineup of custom apparatus! Incredible attention to detail as always and they just look sooo good!! I sure would not want to live in their tax district! How do these large departments fuel their vehicles? I can't imagine them having their own pumps but they must be close to a fuel source? Thank you Bill, it is always a revelation to gaze upon your creations!  :wow: :wow: :wow:

Thank you Gepetto! The good thing about Playmobil vehicles is they're all green ecologically powered so they don't contribute to additional atmospheric demise! This excellent fuel source is called "Push, Pickup & Carry Power" or they can be equipped with the more expensive "battery powered" option ;)!
