Hi everybody,

I use to be a regular reader/sometimes poster here and at another to-be-unnamed playmobil fan site... I stopped coming during a time when there was a lot of fighting going on amongst members.  :(

Anyway, I really miss talking with others about playmobil so I decided I'd like to wade into the waters again if you all will let me. Collecting by myself is just not nearly so much fun.

A little about me: I have two daughters 6 and 9, also avid collectors. We all three love playmobil animals and animal related sets, as well as the city sets, and in addition I love the Roman sets and the old medieval and knights sets (though mostly I just have castles because I haven't been able to get my hands on the other cool buildings from that time).

I look forward to talking with you all again.

It's great to see you with us again! We're sorry if there was a time that you felt uncomfortable here :-[! Hopefully those times are in the past, & there are better times ahead! If at any time you feel something has gone in the wrong direction, please let the responsible moderator know by clicking on "report to moderator" @ the bottom right of the  problem posting, & we can review the situation before it goes too far  :yup:!

Thanks Bill... what was going on back then wasn't so much a moderating problem... but well it is ancient history especially in web time, and not worth rehashing. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome!!  :) :)

I am a new member here, but I am glad you came back...
I know for a fact that collecting by yourself is way less fun then collecting with others.
(Especially these guys! :) )

Hi Red, from Northern California!

I don't think I know you.  I've been a member for only about a year.  Glad to meet you!   :wave:

I became interested in Playmobil because of the Romans.  They are a great theme.  Too bad Playmobil didn't really do much with them and is discontinuing them.
