This is incredible George  :wow: :wow: :wow:
You must have so much patience to set up all those klickies in such neat lines.
It's such a pity that it's hidden away in your playmoden, something as good as this should be on display to all.

Elaine

Thank you Queen Elaine  :)

Thank you.  My aim was to create a vibrant and alive city unlike the guards in th castle and on the walls who are still and too many. There is a lot of detailing not captured in these photos , some families eating outside their house, a young couple meeting secretly, a couple's first date at one of the beer houses , the mayor having visitors, the famous tavern of krull having delivery of wine and beer, sales of various items and good happening, a thief arranging a theft, hunters returning from hunt, the bishop and his clergy disucssing matters of faith, all wil be shown in better pictures in the future through the Knight Lore Chronicles  :)

Yes, that's my favorite part of any diorama, all the little subtle details and side stories! Can't wait to see close-ups!

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

I am gonna borrow my dad's prof camera very soon and also with proper lighting take a 15min video where hopefully a lot of such details / stories will be captured. when the forest , the other castles and vikings are all set and completed. Should be by end of this month. and then the Knight Lore Chronicles shall begin !!!!!! There will be lots of wars and battles and dragons etc etc , and royal visits and next summer a jousting tournament !!!!! But first WAR !!!!  :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight: :knight:

The area not yet set up looks like the site of a terrible battle

Thank you Sir, now thats something i havent thought of !! mind you , the 11th chapter of the Knight Lore Chromicles will be a massive battle !!!! all my klickies will be involved in !!!1 I estimate this to happen sometime round july next year after the hosting of the Krull, Ceragem tournament as all yuo see now will be destroyed and all klickies, dragons, sea monsters, magic, armies, townfolk will be part of the massive battle between the King and the united Dragon Kingdoms ( Yellow dragon, Green dragon, Red Dragon )......

However there is also a massive battle / siege of the city of Krull in the 5th chapter and a rather big forrest battle in chapter 2 not to mention a major viking /dragons battle in chapter 4 and of course  a dragon air attack in chapter 10 just before the mother of all battles , the battle of the Time of the Dragons takes place in chapter 11 .....

What an incredable set up Giorginetto. It really is such a shame they didn't produce more good '90's medieval citizens. i see some klickies repeated through your city but I know the options are very limited.

I see already so many great scenes going on in the city and I am looking forward to all the awesome adventures you will be taking us along on.

Thanks Gis  for your encouragement for the Knight Lore Chronicles.  :)

On the subject of medieval townfolk i fully agree, very limited options, i have created some customs and variations with hats etc but still repetition is unavoidable whern you look at a town with 150 or so  residents . I am still on the look out for more townfolk i want to get another 30-40  or so ... it woudl be nice to bring out such klickies once again , much improved from the simple one sin the past , right now mediaval klickies are only foot / soldiers / knights and dragon klickies with wings  nothing wrong with them but very limited in terms of creating dioramas etc. Shame really the steck old houses i always thoght of being a very educational series for childresn , it shouldnt just be about warriors and siege machines nad dagons, looks more like a konan the barbarian  or ad&d range of toys nowaways rather than the classic mediaval playmobil.
