Fire truck 3525
« on: December 02, 2009, 19:36:22 »
Hi,
just curious,
I have a 3525 fire truck (sorry I havent learnt how to put a pic on yet), and it has stickers displaying '23' on it, instead of the usual '21'.
Do you reckon this is a rarity, or just the fact that someone has put the stickers from fire truck 3526 on it  ???

I was just wondering...

Hi flatcat,
When the 3525 fire ladder trucks & 3526 fire engines were both in production, they came with one decal sheet that had 4 white unit number 21's & 4 white unit number 23's included on the same decal sheet. To be politically correct to match the original box, the 3525 ladder trucks were numbered with 21's & the 3526 fire engines were numbered with 23's, 2 on top of the rear cab & 2 on the front sides. Someone must have wanted to have a 23 unit number ladder truck before you got it!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I'm glad I could answer your question. I have 6 of the 3526 fire engines in various refurbish stages & some are customized, they are my favorite , & 2 of the 3525 ladder trucks in mint condition. If you have any questions about them, let me know, & maybe I can help.
