Hello from Maryland!

Hi everyone!  My name is Lee, I'm from Fairplay, MD in the US.  I'm a big Playmobil fan (and have played with it since I was a wee little tyke).  I'm now 26 and have renewed my interest in Playmobil.  I'm an EMT so I like the rescue themes, but I like the animal themes as well (I guess that's the girl in me).  But my favorite piece is my Playmobil dollhouse (5300).

I look forward to exploring the site, making new friends, and getting some great ideas for photostories (I've got a couple cooking in my head, I just need to get the time and parts to complete them).

Hello Lee, welcome from the great Pacific Northwest and glad to have you with us here! There is no shortage of Fire and Rescue enthusiasts here (dollhouses too), glad you chose to join us and look forward to hearing/seeing some of your ideas on the forum. :wave: :wave:

Hello Lee, and welcome from the UK.  It's good to see you here and, as Gepetto says, there are a number of fire and rescue fans here.  Dolls' houses?  Well only if they're on fire.   ;D

Don't worry about boys & girls ... I'm coming to find out that many, many girls love playing pirates ::) haha!

(Kidding, though it's a true fact)

Wonderful thing about playmobil is that there is no restriction: boys 'n girls play together. And everyone have fun.

I hope you enjoy the forum.
It's among the best places in the internet I know!
& for playmobil, to English speakers (I know not a word in (actual) German ...), it's the best!

[Concerning stories in mind, it's great! :yup: I've come back to the playmoworld because of the will of making photostories, and still wish to improve mine, with better equipement (the camera I use is very poor :-[ .. well this day will come); anyway, I have a few things delayed in publishing, and some projects that I still have to make, and I'll go on working on them as I can ... I hope you are lucky -- and work well -- in your own stories! It's a fascinating and lovely thing to do with our playmo, and a wonderful way of sharing with our friends here :) ]

Haha I know what you mean about everyone playing the same.  I grew up playing with the Pirate Ship and Castle. 

And so far I really do like this forum!

I've noticed that you've been enjoying some of the older threads. There are lots and lots of really great old posts with many wonderful ideas. Be careful when looking at some of the posts from Playmofriend's past. It's really easy to get hooked on themes that you may have never even thought about before ... ;)

from san francisco.  i'm a mom who started collecting for my kids in the early 80s (and a few pieces for me as well), then recently brought all of their things out of storage for myself to enjoy.   you are really going to enjoy the depth of knowledge and breadth of creativity the members of this forum have.  personally, i have collected all things medical and just last year put together the first phase of a medical center.  of course none of our projects are ever finished, there is always something else that can be added.  hope you enjoy the group here.
