Bonjour Emma

Always a pleasure catching up with a fellow Victorian Theme Lover !!!
Once again, I would like to say how much I have admired your incredible production of exquisite dioramas this summer and for me, your Victorian Kitchen is nothing short of a mini masterpiece. I have Miniaturist Friends in the US who were equally lost for words in view of such creativity and eye for detail. Second best would be your Emporium and should I have your talent, I would customize my Karstadt Oldtimer Truck to the colors of Harrods or Fortnum & Mason but I know I will never achieve such a stunning result

.
For someone with an eye for details, my dioramas are instantly recognizable and so are yours

. My aim is to create a poetic and old World flavored diorama by using the finest 1/12th accessories available and my new dioramas should be very special indeed.
I am creating them first and foremost for myself, for my Playmofriends and beyond - as I am ultimately in a Playmo community and playing the Librarian is fun but not what is expected of me - I would like to thank Sylvia, Bill, Rasputin, Martin and Gepetto for tolerating my exhuberant personality and postings with good humour and spirits

- ie PlaymoChef

I will list the room dioramas - kitchen & Great Ball Room - but all the external features and vehicles will remain as I intend to create on the same foundations a few lovely Springtime dioramas next year using the same display, just with a another feel, which will create a continuity in the Theme and will allow people to see the Mansion evolving throughout the seasons - that's the plan

.
Many thanks for your suggestion for the snow effect !!! Should my adhesive snow sheets and sprinkle not work out, I will give it a try ...
From tomorrow evening onwards, I will finally get a chance to sit down and "get cracking" with these dioramas that are already captivating my imagination and I just cannot wait for the Fairy Electricity to shine through

!!!
So catch up on Friday evening...
Karim
