LHAAP's old catalogues
« on: May 26, 2008, 01:58:50 »

Wow! I was taking a look at the albums, and found some pictures of old catalogues at LHAAP's album (Thx_4 sharing them, LHAAP :D !), and I found this page:

which brings the Antartic collection yellow plane, that I had long ago, and I ... kind of missed to see it again! (Collectobil helped a lot to kill the feeling of loss by gazing at :lens: the :camera: old :!: sets  , but there's stuff we don't find there ... :'( )

It isn't even my favourite set, but it's so great to see it again. Maybe I'll still have an airplane, in this new playmotime in my life, but I have to admit that it'll have to wait a bit, until I managed to be reasonably happy with three or four timbered houses ;D

WHAT ABOUT YOU, PLAYMOFRIENDS?

Do you have a favourite set, or can't you pick only one? ::)

Hello , Gus ...

WHAT ABOUT YOU, PLAYMOFRIENDS?

Do you have a favourite set, or can't you pick only one? ::)

What a GREAT question!

In fact, that's a wonderful question, Gus ...  :wow:

A favourite set? Hmmm ...  ^-^  :eh?:

It would probably be a "toss-up" between sets 3450 and 3940.
(It would have been 3450 and 3550 had Playmobil not produced set 3940.)

However, my favourite theme is the ...

1900 Victorian Belle Epoque
!

Thanks for asking the question, Gus. It really made me think ... ;)

All the best,
Richard

It is hard to pick a favorite, but I think the first pirate ship, closely followed by the
old castle system....hard to leave out the 1900 theme.  (I thought they,Playmobil,
could have expanded a great deal more on that series.  Vintage cars, trucks, AEROPLANES,
and other thingamabobs!)

Good question. :yup:

Best regards,
Jimbo

(Thx_4 sharing them, LHAAP :D :
You're welcome ;)

As already mentioned by Jimbo and Richard is it a real hard question :eh?:
I think that my favourite set, among those I have, is the 3015 Jungle Ruins. It contains so many nice things: the fabulous idol ( 8-)), the cobra snake, toucan and the ruin of course!
I know that the jungle theme wasn't a succes for PLAYMOBIL, but to me it is also one of the best themes

Hello, Lars ...

The entire Jungle Theme is also one of my very favourites too!

Maybe it's because it reminds me of ...

Indiana Jones
...  :klickywink:

All the best,
Richard
