Hello from Wolverhampton, UK
« on: January 01, 2026, 15:16:57 »
Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year! Hope you've all been enjoying the festive season.

My name is Natalie and I'm from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, UK. After admiring Playmobil from afar for much of my life I finally started collecting in 2021 when I became aware of the licensed sets, particularly Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and Scooby-Doo. My first set was the Delorean and after that I was hooked.

I've since become obsessed with the Victorian sets and got the mansion in 2024 for my 36th birthday. I also love anything spooky so I'm always on the lookout for any spooky Playmobil I can pick up. My partner and I are huge collectors in general so I'm often fighting for space to display my Playmobil sets. I love setting up scenes and taking photos, though I hope to one day have the room to set up a proper diorama.

I've really enjoyed looking through all the topics and posts on here so far and I'm glad to now be a part of the PlaymoFriends community.

I look forward to sharing this hobby with you all!

Thanks,

Natalie

Welcome from Stroud in Gloucs!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
