We’re visiting friends in Canada for a week. Because our kids are still small we left them at home with grandma. But we also took them with us (sort of).

Thanks!!
I’ve been busy with work since our trip. So here are some more pictures. My favorite is the waterfall one. My daughter really loves taking a shower whilst my son prefers a bath.

The kids really loved receiving a picture of their playmobil-selves every morning with a short story about what we did or where we went that day.

That's a really lovely idea! Nice solitary coral fossils in the last picture!

At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

We found a lot outhouse fossils on the beach. The locals call them dragons teeth.
