Any updates on this? I bought the same figure from two different stores and it had the same code for both !!!

The exact same code?

I finished getting the figures, playing for almost all of them..

Review pending. Still have all the app screenshots to organize (and some to capture)

I tried the app again to see if there have been any updates. It gets stuck on "connecting" after one game. My internet connection is fine.

I believe the app is dead for a few series now. 

Just as well, I guess. If they are going to do it like that, better do nothing. :(
