My current playmobil collection!
« on: September 20, 2019, 19:56:04 »
Hi everyone!

This is my current playmobil collection. I don't know what it is about them, but I love looking at playmobils when they are set up, they give me infinite bliss. From one purchase here, to another, I ended up with this monumental collection :D

I will add more files/photos soon.

Edit: I like to buy and collect the full sets, all the way to their add-ons. Here you see the old castles from the 90's and the new castles from 2014. Then some pirate ships, the oldest from the 80's at the top shelf, then the one from the 90's that come with a cat and chimpanzee.

The very last photo are the dragon series - my favorite - also complete with its add-ons (being the leader + 3 knights for both factions, I don't know of any other add-on for the series).

Here are a few more photos of my collection:

I have the full circus from brazil, 90's, a rare version to own as it had different animals and characters.

The hospital and surgery room, racing car, camping truck all from the 80-90's (childhood toys).

The awesome Dragon Castle and Knights from I think 2004, I would have to look it up to check the year lol, along side with the latest Rocket and Discover astronauts / mars mission.

Plus a bunch of pirates all over the place, vikings and police sets. lol.

PS: I am a professional oil painter, so sometime I will post my custom pirate ship, completely re-painted with oils, made into a cool Dragon Pirate Ship!

I have spot some nice collector's items! Are all your sets displayed or do you keep some sets behind the scenes?

Lovely displays! A great eclectic mix!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
