(gah, must have seen this from the tabby.... so I didn't answer!

)
That dog sled set is a good classic looking one, no stupid laser weapons, lots of appropriate gear. And I agree an Eskimo family would be great.
Well, we are all in agreement.. now let's see if playmobil is too.. I am not very confident.
All three polar sets have some great parts. I love the metal detector made of various existing parts. Is there a member of playmofriends working for Geobra perhaps?
It is isnt't it? A perfect example that they can come up with different and interesting stuff without actually making new parts...
In your review you put the old dogsled set next to the new one and wondered which was more accurate. As i have done dogsledding in Swedish Lapland i know a thing or two about it. First of all the arrangement of the dogs, two by two behind eachother, is much more realistic then all dogs next to eachother. Having sleddogs arranged all next to eachother would wreack havoc and all dogs entangled in to the ropes.
Thank you. Come to think of it, whenever we see dog sleds (in the Amazing Race, I think

) they are always two by two... (hands of blue? Oh, no, wait, that's something else!)
But strangely enough the older set's harnasses are more realistic then the new ones, which are far too bulky.
The new husky's are great!
Besides being bulkier they are orange! I mean the ... I fail to come up with two names - the dog's "vest" (orange) and the brown things that those attach to to the sled... Do those have diffent names?
The brown part looks odd, imo... I still think it really looks like Lego. (not that I have any recent - as in less than 30 years - lego sets)
It's a theme I don't have and it is time to add it in my collection!!
Past time!!
