Playmobil Coffin
« on: July 13, 2016, 16:48:30 »
I am assuming that this is a custom piece

And here is the link for its sale on E-bay:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ATAUD-OESTE-WESTERN-COFFIN-CERCUEIL-DIORAMAS-CUSTOM-PLAYMOBIL-FIGURA-NO-INCLUIDA-/381353509046?hash=item58ca70c0b6:g:q1gAAOSw9N1VwjmL

My question is, does playmobil have an actual coffin and does it come close to looking like a plank wood type? I know there is one for Dracula, but that is black and has a bat on it. I need something for an under taker that fits a western theme.

I need something that looks like this:

Your help would be most appricated.

Sincerely,
James

It is custom...

What is Dracula's coffin?

AFAIK, there is only that transparent one in... Snow White ???

Yes don't know about the Dracula's one you refer to.
There is the transparent one in Snow White fairy tale set, and then the big Anubis one in the Egyptian Pyramid sets, and the mummy wrapped style in the Egyptian, Jungle and other sets.

Turns out it was a custom as well.

Playmobil should make an under takers set, and though it seems playmobil trys to stay away from death, they could do it as a Halloween set.

So for the time being looks like I will be making a custom set for my western theme.

Could you use the rectangular chest?

That's far too small for a klicky.. Maybe for a kid? But doesn't really look like a coffin, IMO.

Does not really fit with the western theme, it is far too ornate. I am looking for a simple pine looking coffin, something that would be made on the frontier.

It's not really coffin shaped, but the one box that does fit a klicky is the long wooden crate.

each has a matching colored lid.

That's a great idea, actually. I never knew they came in light grey too  :)
