Collector's Display Case
« on: July 12, 2007, 19:26:54 »
And another item I realized during the PF-free time (i.e. during the forum update period).

Now you can see for what I needed the cupboard from the 3417 Children's Playroom I was looking for  ;D

(More information on this item you can find here on my homepage.)

BTW, this is the original real-life display case which was the master for this little work:

Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechless!    :wow: :wow: :wow:  I'm getting quite lost for words as I see more and more of your "other life".

Your whole display is getting quite surreal - Jochen in a klicky world with klickies in the klicky world.  It's getting rather like the model village in Bourton-on-the-Water.  The model village is a model of Bourton-on-the-Water and is in the garden behind the pub. In the model village, in the garden behind the pub, is a model of the model village and in the garden behind the pub in the model of the model village is a model of the model of the model village with in the garden behind the pub........

When I got to the third picture, I didn't notice the caption at first and thought it was another miniature showcase you'd made with miniature copies of your customs!

Uh, no no, this would be to heavy  ;)
So I will make the headline/caption for the real-life photo more visible -- don't want anybody to get a heartattack

Oh... WOW! :inlove:

What a fabulous idea!!!

I have been wondering what you were going to make from that old cupboard. ;)

What parts did you make the 'glass' doors from and how do you get them to stay in position?!

My Mum loved that model village at Bourton-on-the-Water.  I really think it was going to see it with her that got me into models and ultimately Klickies.

So, as you see, I blame the parents!
