What sort of filler do you use for doing bodywork, to hide seams etc. Fill sand fill sand prime and paint.

Milliput comes in various types, normal, fine etc. and also colours and is good for filling.

For painting on large areas, e.g. vehicle bodies, I use acrylic car primer and paints.

I know that it comes in different types, but I never really did anything that... precise, so I'm not one to talk..

However, do keep in mind milliput (at least) comes also in black and terracotta - for me that was a MAJOR plus, cause I didn't have to paint those (let's say painting is not a strong point)..

I used those for the trolls - terracotta for the mother's top and the black one for the kid...

That's useful to know, Tahra.  I knew about white and grey, but not about black and terracotta.

There is also a Silver milliput, but the opinions that I saw weren't very good, color wise, so I didn't buy it...

If anyone has, I'd love pics of the finished thing... A metalish one would bevery very useful!

The trolls customs have a semi gloss look to them. Does it dry sorta shiny or was a clear/top coat used?

If you have the model shops that sell the plastic cars that you can build, these model paints (I use Testors, but there are various brands) will work wonderfully on Playmobil as well.

They're varnished, both of them...
