Le Crâne Cramoisi
« on: July 26, 2015, 22:45:39 »
My new PYRAT ship, dubbed "Le Crâne Cramoisi," was launched today at Hidden Hollow in Ohio. This is part of Fernwood State Forest in the eastern part of the state. It's quite lovely but we spent our first 10 minutes there cleaning up trash from previous visitors; why someone would throw empty cigarette packages & losing lottery tickets into a tranquil pond is beyond me. Trash is as trash does, I said. After that, got some great pictures, & the new pink flamingo jumped in for the last few.

Great pictures! That's an awesome setting (too bad about the garbage though).

Do they not understand the threat of the octopus?

They had tossed the octopus one of the crew just before that, so it was content to let them pass.

LOL! I decided not to photograph that as it seemed like it should be left private. ;-)

Awesome pics!

(Shame about the trash. The trash that throws trash in the pond, I mean)

I really like that snake-eel-dragonish front on the ship.. you have any idea if that fits the other (older) ships? The 3550/3750 ones, I mean (hope I got the refs right) - the first ones?

I really can't get more pirate ships. But I like that thing...

This is my first pirate ship, so I don't know. The serpenthead is piece 40 45 0150. It fits onto the bowsprit piece 40 20 0200.

Nice pictures, and that really is a nice pirate ship. I dont think that size has ever been released here in Europe.

Seems about as big as a schooner, but lower and the back seems to be higher.
