Pet Exam Room 5530

Does anyone know if thie 5530 Pet Exam Room is meant to fit in with existing structures, ie shops, hospital or is it a stand alone set?  I like the floor they provided as it would cover the baseplate holes.

It attaches to the back of the main clinic set, 5529, as kind of an extension. I don't actually have these sets, but it looks like the exact same system as the last veterinary clinic, 4343 and 4346, and that's how they worked.
