Personally I look at it the other way, I would guess from the earlier parts that it might well have been Timothy who initiated the trade and wanted go stay with the fairies, how he'll cope and why the Mother was convinced to let her daughter go with the kids is another matter the parents will indeed be in for a shock later.

What a nice story, loved all the pictures. The breeding program is very special anyway. I haven't seen any male fairies. Is that why they kidnapped Timothy?

I thought this whole thing was a hoax... They where so keen on raising funds that I thought it would be likely the fairies were going to take of their costumes and have a nice party with all the collected money. '

Your ending is even more fascinating.
