The Internet Knights

[Raven]

Once upon a time, not very long ago, there were six internet knights.  They had met on the We_Want_to_be_Knights forum, and dreamed of the day when they could be knights for real.

There was Silver Knight.



And Happy Knight.



Knight of Action, who never stopped organising things.

[Raven]

There was also Green Knight.



Knight of Worry.



And Tough Knight, who was very tough indeed.

[Raven]

One day, Knight of Action had some very exciting news.  He had bought a castle, and they could all live there and become the Real Knights they wanted to be.



Knight of Action moved into the castle to prepare it for the others, and the remaining five friends met up and caught a bus to the nearest town.



Tough Knight was full of anticipation about how it would be.

[Raven]

The internet knights had to walk the last part of the journey.



And then they saw Knight of Action's castle for the first time.



'Oh, it's beautiful!' everyone cried.



Except for Tough Knight.  Tough Knight was shocked.  Tough Knight didn't like the castle at all.

[Raven]

'Come on in,' said Knight of Action.



And the internet knights followed him in.



'I hope I fit in alright here,' thought Knight of Worry.



'Look at the pretty flowers!' exclaimed Green Knight.

[Raven]

'This is not a proper Knights' Castle,' exploded Tough Knight.

'It's just modern,' said Knight of Action.



Tough Knight snorted and said, 'Does it have anything truly knightly about it?  Do you have a castle mascot for example?  A bear or an eagle or something?'



'Oh yes,' said Knight of Action, 'Here she is.  She's called Sweetie.'



'Come on Sweetie,' he called, 'Come and meet all the knights.'

'She is lovely!' said Happy Knight, and the other knights agreed.

Except for Tough Knight.  Tough Knight didn't like cats.

[Raven]

Knight of Action took everyone into the Great Hall.



He served drinks.



'What on earth is that stuff?' growled Tough Knight.  'Don't you have any beer?'

'No beer, sorry,' said Knight of Action.

[Raven]

Everybody raised their glasses to a successful life as Real Knights.



Except for Tough Knight.  Tough Knight sulked about the lack of beer.



When the drinks were finished, Knight of Action said that he would show everyone the bedroom.

[Raven]

Happy Knight placed his teddy on his bed.



Green Knight was happy that the balcony overlooked the flower garden.



Knight of Worry was nervous about the stairs.



But, with encouragement, he ascended.

[Raven]

'I am NOT sharing a bedroom!' declared Tough Knight.



'I shall sleep on the sofa.'
