Apparently I'm very bad at updating this thread. It's been about a year, and I have made many many purchases in that time!
I answered a Craiglist ad for the Roman Coliseum (on my want list at about medium), but it came with "a bag of people" and "a bag of horses", so I took the plunge and bought it for the asking price of $50 Canadian, which is about 32 Euros, 38 US, or 24 pounds.
I was very pleased! The coliseum is in good shape, the main problem being a broken side of one gate, and one pair of the smaller gates missing. It came with the 4274 four horse chariot, and three lions instead of one. And those lovely white statues!
The bag of people turned out to be 70 klickies. The romans that came with the coliseum, about four modern ones, a few extra romans, some pirates, and the rest knights. My main theme is modern, but many of the knights have useful parts.
There were several bags full of accessories - the shields, weapons, flags etc etc.
The horses: as well as the ones that came with the chariot/coliseum, there were 21 more, with many saddles/bridles/those long knight coat thingies. I already have several horses which is more than I use, so don't be surprised if I'm doing a trade and ask if you need horses!
There was also a few extra things that she threw in that weren't mentioned in the ad - an 80% complete 4007 Pirates cove superset, some fences, an unopened mermaid/neptune duo pack, and a few other things. All in all, a great deal!
