Another one much bigger than I thought it would be.
I can see myself with a whole flock of these guys hanging from the ceiling.
I have to say that with the quality of the Roman series and then the quality and scale of this series I am feeling very good about the current direction of Playmobil

Thanks for all the dinosaur reviews, Andi! Much appreciated! :)

When I talked to my son, Kieran (ie. Mawson), about future dino releases many months ago, he said that he would really like to see a pteranodon set. We were both very surprised when it actually came true. ;D

He even drew his impression of the type of set it could be included in. He was going to post the drawing, but we never got around to it for one reason or another. :-[

Anyway, here is his drawing. (Better late than never! ;)) He had an ice cliff in mind because he was thinking of ways to integrate the pteranodon in an arctic setting like the other Ex-Di sets.

Hi Sylvia,

great picture but i dont think the pterandon get inside he are a wingspan from 25 cm !
But the blue wings are very flexible !!

hmmm

ok here was a little UPDATE !  ;D
You can push the head from the pterandon to clamp a fish inside !
I think there was a spring in his head to get automatic back.

ENJOY !!

This set has arrived to me now. I have to say that the feet are difficult to get clipped onto the tree branch, it took me quite a while, and the leg joint was too loose at certain places for posing. Still it's a great set.
The blue of the wings really is flexible as Andi says, a very nice aspect.
