Do not forget Playmobil plastic track is a tighter radius then LGB R1 Track

I think you have to make the wheels movable (the 2 middle or the 2 outer ones) to both sides, so that the loco goes on R1 (or R 0,9 plastic).

OR

You have to make 2 bogies (each with 2 axles) like the LGB 99 7245 (HSB 5-coupler):

You're quite right, Knight Train, a typo on my part.  I thought it looked odd when I read it through - I could even picture the tape reading MORE than 4 feet!
