Sofar, such pictures from Surpise Figures series 4 and 5 have only been made available through the confidential download in the PCC, so maybe this thread should be moved from the general area to the members-only area (to avoid trouble like on KW) ? Though I guess if the pics originate anywhere else then the thread could remain in this section...

Both series 4 and 5 pics are in the PM Canada on line 3D catalogue sp they must be available everywhere

I guess the Canucks are the lucky first ones then  ;) , thanks for the link!

They haven't been added on the other sites yet, not even on the German one.
At the moment (monday 14th Jan 04h57) on page 1 of the German online catalogue you still get to see the "old" figures series 2 and 3;

Btw, the new French 2013 online catalogue, including the new Alpine Mountain Theme, was up on the French website for a day but it has been removed again...

Just had another look, and I noticed above the pics of series 4 it says "new 01/2013", which if correct would mean that series 4 would be released in Canada THIS MONTH, thus one month before the release in Germany (and elsewhere I assume), which is scheduled for february... ???
On the other hand, above series 5 it says "new 08/2013", wich is one month later then the German release planned for series 5... 8}

Is the viking wearing the diapers?

NO. I think it's cavepeople legs :love:

Is the space suit new or is it the same as the deep sea diver?

I always thought he's meant to be a diver.. looks just like the yellow one. Though I suppose he'd fit right in with the astronauts.

The other space man has a very smooth head, is that a black swim cap?

I believe so :)  All the series must have a freak - what in Hades is THAT supposed to be? Parts, I think.

I really also like the green archer girl but to me the glove color/tone looks not as good as it could have. I do not even think there are many other color choices to use that look like that. I think I will just put flesh colored hands on instead of the long gloved ones.
I LOVE HER. But the cloves are COMPLETELY off in color, I think. A real shame. I think you are right - bare arms will look a  lot better. You guys can probably send me all repeat archers :love:

They haven't been added on the other sites yet, not even on the German one.

I'll never understand that.

I asked in the PCC about the release-date(s), and from Playmobil's answer the conclusion can be drawn that 01/2013 for America is a little overambitious because of all the logistics involved...

Playmobil has been saying February 2013 on the facebook page... so my guess is perhaps beginning to mid-march  :lol:

EDIT: Just noticed that this topic is series 5 not 4... they are saying series 4 in february so i'm guessing that the "June" that they have labeled on series 5 will turn into July or August... personally I hope series 6 waits until 2014...  :-[

Hadoque, I'm shocked we were first. I really hope that January release date is wrong. Series 3 were a couple of months late here (Nov instead of Sept) and I'm still looking to complete my full complement of Grenadiers and Dwarves.  I really like some of the figures from these series but I think PM is putting a little too much product out there. From my point of view I am having a really hard time. Not so much with buying them but with getting them in to the rotation without spoiling the kids.

There seems to be something odd going on with the release dates listed in the Canadian catalogue... Most themes are listed as released in January - Dinos, Western, Dogs - or August - Cargo, Police, Hotel, Agents2.  However the web site has different dates!  Jan: Dogs; Feb: Western; March: Police & Dinos; etc.  So which is right?  Maybe neither one?  There are no dates for the Fi?ures on the web site so we can only presume that, based on last year (as Ds Dad says), series 4 will be out in April or May and series 5 will be out in September or October.

I'd say there is still time to get more of series 3... though Toys-R-Us here ran out of them last month and I'm hoping they will get more in.  My local toy shop only gets in one order and they're all gone now so they'll be getting series 4 next.  I still need to get a couple more dwarves/dwarfs and a few others.

I too think they come out too fast, it is getting hard to keep track especially with all the ones I & the kids want repeats of. If a local store or even TRU has a limit to boxes you can only get so many in your area. I am sure there are many in series 1,2,3, and soon 4 & 5 that I want many of but cant find them through traditional means in the US. If Geobra sold them to pcc members in clear bags I know I would spend more over all on them. There are so many that we like but we do not even want to take them apart due to not having lots of repeats. Unless we start buy full cases many times we never get around to using them as they were intended, customizing.
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:
