Keeping the new dragons chained up?

Hi:

My daughters don't have any of the various dragons Playmobil has created over the years.  I'd like to get them either the large black one (4838) or the medium sized green one (7481 - there's also a red one like it but I don't know the set number).

My question is whether the old dragon's breastplate, arm chains, and leg chains that can be found in various sets (3345, 3840, 3912, or 7876) will fit these new dragons.

Do any of you have these old manacles AND the new dragons?  Can you tell me if they fit?

Well, I do have all the dragons, but they don't like to be chained up - I doubt any of them (except the first - and maybe the ones bought lose) were ever in chains....

I don't think I ever tried the breastplate on the new ones... Can try it tomorrow (if I don't forget - my poor old head  ).

But you don't need chains - mine at least are all very well behaved. The only problem is the first one is REALLY into hugs... and there have been some mild crushing incidents, though nothing fatal!

Hi, I have all the dragons and you definitely want the big black one from 4838. It's the best dragon they've ever made. On my way out the door this morning I tried the collar and wrist manacles on it and they fit ok. The chain length is fine and the wrist ones just fit. I didn't try the leg shackles though.

I agree!    He's huge and gorgeous! Forgot to say that before
