do you mean how the toy works itself or how they work in a real train setting?
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Ah, signals.  They aork manually - you move the lever and the signal arm goes up or down.

Or are you asking how you put it together?

It can't be, cause in the signal is no electricity. To make a train stop automatically, you need a section without electricity with a switch (to turn it ON or OFF). You can build a switch yourself (?!?) for it. For Isolation, look HERE!

George, you can buy LGB signals which are electrically operated and which cut off power to the track when they are set to STOP and restore power when they are set to go.  They are expensive.

Thank you sir !! I dont want to go digital nor too technologically advanced in my train set up . THe LGB JUmbo uniti have is more than enough for me and i just want to learn ho wto use all of its capabilities and also some of those isolators as the previous post linked to , that should suffice to set up a decent train set up when in the mountain home next . i really really miss my playmo trains and i am very tempted to join them with the victorian set up, i still havent used my train station either ( the steck one  ) . Thank you all for the info etc

Sorry for being a bit late, but as a newbie I'm still reading through a lot of the threads.

Here is a video of my Xmas train last Xmas, and the new bit I added was the stop/start red/green light which is activated by just pressing a button. When the camera moves, that's just me moving to press the button and activate the light.
