((as promised, the Roman purchases which I have had for some while now but I had no room to set it up due to shooting a picture story.))
In ancient Rome, gladiator battles where fought.
Gruesome battles where people would fight for ther survival.
Blue gladiator:
"Grrr! you cannot beat me!"Green gladiator:
"Yes I can.."Suddenly, a woman approaches the gladiators in the empty arena and she does not seem happy.
Games director:
"No, no, no! that is all wrong!"Blue gladiator:
"Well I am giving it my very best."
Games Director:
"You need to be more menacing! You play the bad guy so act the part! Maybe you need to gain some extra weight, to inspire a real sense of dread!"Green Gladiator:
"She is right you know, I did not really believe you where angry. It might make me look bad."Games Director:
"Oh shush you! you spoke too softly, I could not even hear you! speak louder, with conviction! you are the heroic underdog of today's show!"The director sighs and moves to turn her attention back to the others involved with today's show while the gladiators resume practicing.
Yellow gladiator:
"Look, I am really having trouble with today's script. Why do I need to be killed by a spear? It just feels wrong for my character."Games director:
"It is a tragic death scene! You bravely defeat the chariot racer of the opressive regime, but you are fatally wounded right when you started to inspire the underdog. Your death inspires him to fight harder!"Yellow gladiator:
"Well alright, I didnt think of it like that yet."Arena owner:
"Are you sure they are all ready for the show?"Games director:
"We will see.. alright everyone, the final rehearsal!"Everyone gets into place and start fighting.. though the red gladiator just keeps laughing when he struggles with the tiger.
Games director:
"Gah! what are you doing?! stop laughing! You are getting mauled by a vicious predator who tries to eat you alive!"Red gladiator, while laughing:
"I can't help it! Sheba keeps tickling me!"The games director sighs and shakes her head.
"Maybe the animals are a little too tame.."Arena owner:
"I am sure it will be alright. The emperor wants gruesome games, we will make it look as if that truly is happening!"In the meanwhile, everyone is getting ready to go to the arena, even the emperor himself!
Emperor:
"The games better be bloody today, that should take my mind off things."Common families are also getting ready.
Roman boy:
"I can't wait to see the games! theres a really cool gladiator in gold armor! He's not affraid of any animal and is strong enough to lift a horse!"Roman Girl:
"It's all fake you know, they are just setting it all up!"Roman boy:
"It's not! Dad! She's being mean again!"Roman dad:
"Now now children, play nice."Roman mother:
"Let's leave quickly so we can find a good spot."
