Do you like the new options for klickies' faces?

Yes, they add new dimension to characters in photostories or customizing.
No. They're terrible! I like the classic style.
Don't care. I can change it out if I don't like it.

The Knight has a normal face but with a cool eye tattoo around the left eye.

Like I said before : the "angry eyebrows" face with a tattoo. :)

I like the tattoo...

Wonder if it's the same as the guy from RoboGang.

Thanks for the pic...

I vote no. I'm not interested in collecting any of these series. I like the normal Klicky faces, & the only other facial looks I need are closed, or crying eyes which I can customize myself without Playmobil doing it for me. The only thing good about the new series is the accessories that come with them IMO. :)9
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I wanna collect them all, but they are all going to be turned around to normal faces. :)

And there's a few that won't stay as-is at all; I'm not into witches and vampires, but will take them apart for customs. The vampiress is getting turned into a saloon girl. ;)

great thread, Jenna - thanks for starting it

if they weren't creepy (like the ghost pirates or african klickies) i guess i'd be pretty ok with them but they're definately a NO NO for me, eww they're super ugly and creepy!

I wanna collect them all, but they are all going to be turned around to normal faces. :)

same here :yup:

I am torn on these.  The skater looks like a big Lego.  On the other hand, a vampire needs her fangs.  HER paint additions seem more in line with eye patches, beard stubble or frowns.

By trying new features on single figures (with reversible faces!), Playmobil picked a safe venue to experiment, and trying new ideas has kept them going for a very long time.  Granted, some ideas don't work very well and/or stray too far from open-ended, creative play scenarios(I'm looking at you, "top agents.")    The rictus grinning figures probably won't appeal to kids, or collectors,  as much, and will hopefully be short lived, but kudos to Playmobil for trying.

(I mean, we have plenty of printings over the normal face.. and then there's that lame halfeyes with a line over, (usually badly) PRINTED, that I have NO idea what they're suppsed to be)
I hate that one so much. A lot of Dragon Land figures and other new ones like Falcon Knights have that...

Like I said before : the "angry eyebrows" face with a tattoo. :)
Oh, wow! That is really cool-looking (for him, as I don't like tattoos myself )! I never knew that he had a special face; thanks a lot for showing that, mate. And I was thinking along the lines of the Picts also... That head doesn't turn around, does it? I think it's fine like that, as I mentioned that additions to the classic face are fine.

I don't like them, too much like LEGO.

Doug you have some good points there, the problem is that these are blind bagged figures. So there wont be any individual sales numbers that could tell them if a particular one is more or less popular. Only the secondary prices on eBay etc will show that, and they really don't like the secondary market and probably wont follow it.

thats pretty much where the problem is then. They try new things here, but have no idea which of the ideas gets well received and which arent. Aside from simply the idea of having figures to collect.
