Knight factions
« on: February 24, 2012, 19:20:39 »
Been planning this for some time now... Showing you group pictures of all my knight factions. Delay was due to bits and pieces missing and constantly being add to the klickies. There are still some missing, either a single feather or a whole series of helmets, but I thought I'd start showing you these now and more later as the missing items become available to me... when and if they become available...

So anyway, here goes:

Tower faction

Leaders:

Cavalry:

Footmen/guards:

Here are two versions of the champion...

My original version is the one with the tabard... The full armor, having the coat of arms on his back is a recent idea... I intend to keep the first one as he goes along well with the champion of the next faction...

White Swan and Black Swan

I kept things simple with them, not too many leaders, just a steward and captain

and a champion with two captains for the cavalry

Most importantly, i saw great potential to the Back swan Special and thought they can make good footsoldiers for the overall Swan faction...

However, I did change the original legs with ones of black splitskirt and supposed chainmail on the legs.

Here is what I like to call Old Yellow Lions

Catapult troops

and crossbowmen troops

the front four crossbowmen holding a different colour shield is one of the setbacks I mentioned in the first post... I forgot I needed four of these shields...  ::)

Next faction is mostly a custom made one...

Black Lions

The knights have the original shield at their backs but I gave them fullplates and split skirt legs (black/darkgrey)

Same with the footmen/guards, only the dot pattern seemed more appropriate in my eyes.

Just one leader here, and a champion, but there is also a leading knight...

Many of us disliked them... Many of us don't want to see them again... but here are my

Purple Barbarians

Gave them three distinct leaders: a chieftain (far left) a shaman (far right) and a septarch (middle)

In a way, they have become civilised barbarians

But look closer... you'll see their ferocity reflected in their eyes...
