Finally opened up the damaged box pirate ship.

I was worried there may be some pieces missing.  You can see how it was taped up all around the bottom:

But it seems to be all still there in it's original packaging:

Last night I sort of came up with a couple project ideas so at least I have some sort of direction now when I'm looking at things.  Playmobil was on sale today (3 hours only  :hmm:) so I came home with this:

The jousting tent was a fluke find at the bookstore afterwards.  So far I've only opened up one of the Spanish Knights.  Got an extra glove so that was cool:

Waiting for DD2 to go to sleep so maybe I can open up the rest.

A great collection in progress, but just realize eventually that neat & tidy look will be over run as the quantities increase! ;)
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Bah, there is no neat and tidy already.  That was only to try and get a decent picture

OK so DD actually fell asleep early which is a shocker so I did get to open everything up tonight  .  Started small and put together the Indian Chief first:

I like him very much, just hope the headpiece will fall more naturally after a while.  It's rubber and tends to bend how it was packaged.

Then the (non-playmobil) jousting tent.  Perfect size IMO:

Very excited to get the two Lion Knight sets out of the box.  Absolutely thrilled with eveything except I could not put the bolt onto the wagon door because of a defect on the door  :'( .  You can see here how the latch thing is broken; I am going to e-mail them and see if I can get a replacement part:

Very happy with everything else.  Honestly I don't really care particularily for cannons or the large weaopons but I was pleasantly surprised to find I could shoot the bolt clear accross the room.  I forgot to add the cannon and other horse in the picture but here are the two knights and the transport.

I made a few minor changes to the lion knight troop klickies (after reading the review on here).  I switched the legs on the two heavily armoured klickies on the right.  I also gave the 3rd guy the breast plate off of my extra Conquistador.  It's not the best (there is nothing covering his back, so it looks a little weird from behind) but I still prefer it to the original version.

All in all I felt a little guilty for spending the money, but now that I've "played" with everything I'm quite pleased  ;D

Yes that's a great price on the tent. A nice group of sets there and you're already an accomplished customizer.
