Discontinued in US

Hey guys.

I know the Lion / Falcon castle sets are set to be discontinued in Germany for the new castle sets being released next month. I was wondering when these sets plan on being discontinued in the US? Will they discontinue them at the same time, or keep them in the US until the new castle sets get released here next year?

Im just wondering because I really want to get the Lion / Falcon sets for my son for Christmas this year, but wondering if purchasing them can wait another couple months or if they are going to be gone soon.

Sorry for all these questions, we are pretty new to playmobil and Im just unsure how these things work.

In general, just as sets are released outside mainland Europe approximately 12 months after their release in Germany, similarly, they are discontinued approximately 12 months after they are withdrawn from the German catalogue.  Of course, they may remain on sale in the shops for months or even years after they have disappeared from the catalogue.

Yeah my local PM stockist still has a number of lion sets, including the castle I think.
