Every one knows that sourish scent of newly boxed steck pieces.

 

I look forward to a review of this fab set and to ( hopefully ) order a few .... 

New nuremberg guards and new steck together... cant beat that !!! Its holy !!!

Well I can tell you in advance a couple of quick things.

I GOT THE CASTLE!
It is 105 Euros.

Good news:
1) It is identical to the original one
2) The steck is great. It gets attached very strongly (maybe becaue it is new and Im used to second hand steck) and it is very hard to get appart, most of all. (for some it could be bad news)

That's all the good news there are.

Bad news
1) The box weights around 9 pounds. To ship from here would it cost a fortune. You better get a steck molding machine cheaper than that. 
2) the clickies are terrible and their faces are printed, not done with 2 different plastics 
3) Though the steck pieces are great in shape and color, there are different shades of grey in the same box. I don't care about that but I know some people do!
4) The accesories are not exactly like what you see in the box. The lady's veil and basket are different.
5) One chest plate is chromed but the helmets are grey.
6) The stickers for the shields at either side of the gate DO NOT EXIST 
7) The are some extra stickers that don't fit anywhere in the set 
8) It was very hard to find. Most toys stores didn't even know about it. And where I found it they only had one.

If I can I'll post pics in the weekend but I can't promise.

Good to hear the steck-pieces are well made. 

To ship from here would it cost a fortune.

And then one probably also has to add huge import-taxes to the shippingcosts...

hhmm i wonder how much a pallet full of these ( and how may would fit on a pallet )  would cost inc shipping to greece . I might give this some serious thought as i think there might be a good market for this set in europe ... ( no, no i am not talking about giorginetto  buying it all for himself.. that will a second pallet probably .... )

Oh no no! I bought it because I wanted that castle .
I don't have much steck. Just a 3888, a 3667, the Baron tower and 3 timber houses. I needed more pieces. And for me IT IS cheaper than importing steck buildings, cause they are too heavy.
