Valletta figures.

Theres a market in Malta's capital Valletta which has been well known for selling mixed up figures and rejects.
You see lots of them on eBay and I just call them Valletta figures.

There's an auction running with some now.

In your second link, Damo, the torso of the middle figure is from a firefighter introduced in 1996!

Well, you know how it is, as a fire-fighter, especially if you're turned out from home at night, you grab what you can and run, dressing as you go!

I think the first 3 ladies are from the Cinderella set...

30 14 3140 - Cinderella, light blue dress, bare feet (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-14-3140)

...perhaps the Fairy Godmother ran out of magic! :D

And putting your husband's hair on by mistake!

Playmofire had made a joke about firefighters just grabbing clothes and running out, to explain why the firefighter klicky had the wrong legs, and Flatcat was making a joke about the klicky  having the wrong hair too.
Hope this helps you to understand.
