ok I now think this remaining part is not playmobil... I had the impression its from a construction set but its handles are too short for playmobil arms, and the grips are a littel thick for playmobil hands...

It still looks like a kind of control pad with something attached at the other end, and an indication that it is actually settled on some kind of base...

nope, I have almost all the 90's space sets and none of them has that part... the only sets from the 90's space I dont have are 3079 space station and 3080 starship maybe its from them, but I doubt it...

I've got that piece as well, Panos.

I'm pretty sure it was Lego - the clip bit on the opposite to the handle I think fits Lego Technic
