This is the last segment of Group Rounds to determine the final field for the playoffs.

Leading out for Group G is local favorite Sir Sigismund of Sweetwater

His opponent will be the Mighty Mysterioso

Sir Sigismund has one win coming into this round. Mysterioso hasn’t had a win and one here will not be enough to get him into the playoffs.

First run out and we have some solid play by Sir Sigismund, getting a head tap off of Mysterioso for 2 points. Mysterioso managed a shield hit for one point.

I think Sir Sigismund took advantage of the shape of Mysteriosoís shield there.  It usually isnít a problem for him but Mysterioso hasnít been playing his best this time out and probably should have switched to a different shape after the first round.

The second run now and we have a bit of payback by Mysterioso, heís gotten the helmet tap this time with Sir Sigismund being left with the shield strike.

Tied now at 3-3

Itís high stakes here for Sir Sigismund and it looks like both of them are scheming hard. Maybe a bit too busy scheming as they missed each other entirely  this run and the score stays tied at 3.

Looks like that scheming payed off for Sir Sigismund, He manages to lure Mysterioso into an early lunge that misses entirely while Sir Sigismund cleans up and gets the win with a shield strike.
Mysterioso is out but how the next match turns out will tell whether this was enough of a win for Sir Sigismund to move on to the playoffs.

Thanks Vanidel,

Sir Sigismund that was a pretty close match with a tie for two runs before you managed to get the winning point.  How are you feeling right now?

Well I feel pretty good Arty.  I think I managed to achieve my goals there,  Mysterioso was a challenge as always but the play went well there at the end. Donít know if it will be enough to get me into the playoffs though.
