Ts, ts, ts - you're really bad guys  ... and I thought I have a dark side  , but yours is much darker. 

Chapter XIII.

„How is this possible?" ARN interrupted Deman YA, "the dragons were driven out from the realms. Grandor has destroyed the last one in the mountains of Weltende.“ Deman Ya denied. „No. The dragons are immortal creatures, as old as the time. They are not bad not good. Neither the most powerful sorcerer nor the strongest warrior are able to kill a dragon. But they need a human host, in order to act. “

„The Dark Circle found a way to attain by these hosts influence over the dragons and to corrupt their native force. After the Dark Circle had been defeated, GRANDOR led the guidanceless dragons into the mountains of Weltende.“

„He swore an enormous lightning and destroyed the connection between the dragons and their hosts. Thus the dragons solidified, and GRANDOR believed their power tamed. Still another further mark GRANDOR and the other sorcerers used their great charm forces and sealed with a spell the ravine, into which they had led the dragons. Nobody should find the entrance any more. The dragons would continue their interrupted sleep there. “

„We do not know how, but ARTRAC succeeded to break the spell. Our observers saw, how he circled several weeks ago in the evening on the back of a dragon over his castle. “

„Now we knew, how we could support your fight against ARTRAC. If we could destroy the connection between the hosts and the dragons, we would rob ARTRAC of its strongest weapon. In addition we had to find the hiding place of the hosts. Thus we begun to build a new lug and made it until the far North Realm, so that we could enter unnoticed ARTRAC's realm. It became the deepest lug, which our people dug ever, but in such a way we remained unnoticed… “

„Then we sent our best scouts in order to get to know, where ARTRAC keeps the hosts hidden. First they spied his castle, but they did not find anything. The other day they met a group wolves, which were in the North Realm  by order of the age-old ones. Also the age-old ones are in big concern over the procedures in ARTRAC's realm.“

„What did not succeeded to them alone, dwarves and wolves mastered it together within a short time. They found ARTRAC's hiding place in the mountains of Weltende. But it is very well guarded, and the rock are from hardest granite. Our best miners succeed digging only under large troubles a lug to the hiding place. But they hope to be able to break through soon. Then your troops can attack ARTRAC's power from the inside. He will not count on it.“

„However it is too late! Our troops are fighting at the borders of the Mountain Realm against ARTRAC. We did not know that he has strengthened his soldiers by dragons. We misunderstood,  the breath of the dragon completely“, ARN answered to Deman YA's remarks. „I'm afraid, we have nothing to oppose this power.“ The dwarves frightened, when they heard ARN's words.

Deman YA stepped to his companions, they plugged their heads together and a heated discussion begun in their language. Even ARN, who had seen and had learned much on his journeys, was not able to understand the conversation. Finally one of the dwarves stepped before Deman YA and spoke some few words to his companions, on which they grown silent. Now he turned at Deman YA, pointed thereby first to his companions and himself, then to ARN. Although ARN and LILIAN did not understand him, they recognized the large seriousness of his words. Then also he was silent. Deman YA nodded and returned to ARN and LILIAN.

„The here present members of the council made a decision. I can't call it good, but I must accept it. Please follow me down to the point of breakthrough.“ Deman YA went to the rear part of the hall. ARN, LILIAN and the councillors followed him. After short hesitating their coachman followed also.
