Haven't posted much lately as I've been very busy.
However, I now have lots of time to spare as I've just had an operation on my hand and because I have my arm in a sling at the moment I can't waste time doing housework

so hope to catch up on everything I've missed in the past few weeks!
The night before my op I finally managed to finish the lady I'm sending to Karim.
She's called Lady Georgiana and is the wife of Lord Hamish Mc Angus of Barnhourrie.
Here she is in her travelling dress with a skirt of Pride of Scotland Tartan...

and in her ball gown of lavender satin...

I used a craft paint called Luna Lights to create her satin dress. It is a water based paint but can be used on metal, plastic and ceramics. It needed quite a few thin coats, but gives a lovely pearlescent effect.
