Hello

Thank you for allowing me to join this amazing group.

My first Playmobil purchase was the yellow submarine......
Many, many more have followed in the past year.

My SO purchased the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" DVD for our 2 boys (5 & 8), my youngest kept asking for a yellow submarine and I had no luck finding one that I felt met the standard of quality I was seeking. I then went to my trusty friend EBay and found a MIB Playmobil - Deep Sea Submarine 3611. I was stoked with all the fine details of it and was determined to win it. Once I had it in my possession I was in love to say the least with its bells and whistles....

Long story short I have spent the last year researching and educating myself on all things Playmobil. My next big decision was the castle, Steck or System X.  I am a lover of old toys so after a bit of thought I choose Steck. Best decision I ever made.

My youngest loves Playmobil and even my older son who has aspergers gets the fever to play with it.

I have a small Playmobil toy store in my utility room that I get to plunder through when I feel like I want to surprise my kids (last night we broke out the  3161 Safecrackers- for the oldest and 4447 Tractor Trailer- for the youngest) Nothing warms a mother like kids jumping around.

We love Playmobil and there is enough of it to keep my obsession with collections occupied for a long time.

Hello and  :welcome: from Louisiana! We have another member here from South Carolina, too. I enjoyed reading your story. BTW, my older brother and my dad both have asperger's syndrome, so I'm very familiar with it. Great to have you with us!  :wave:
