I discovered playmobil about two years ago while searching for toys for my kids on which I wouldn't mind spending my money.  Now, I was familiar with the name 'playmobil', I just had no idea what it represented.  I thought that it was akin to Fisher Price.  Well, once I realized what I was missing out on, I decided that Playmobil was the toy that I had always wanted as a child but never had access to.

So, I buy for the kids to enjoy.  And they do!  I want them to have the greatest play value for the least amount of money so we focus on the smaller playsets.

I have enjoyed reading the perspectives and reviews on this forum over the course of many months and finally signed up as a member today.

There's also a Story Telling section if your kids are big enough to read.... that's fun too!
