Looks like ideally you'd have to go MacGuyver style and splice two ships lengths together, add a midcastle at the ship's halfway point, and add another mast as well. But if you're going for a simplified homage to the ship then of course you don't have to go that elaborate. Sorry, you got me all excited, lol.
And kudos to the homage to your Grandfather and the personal connection to it. I have the same pride whenever I mention my Grandpa being on the cover of Time Life magazine with two other soldiers from his battalion during the Korean War. Hmmm, perhaps I should re-create the cover scene ala playmobil as you are doing!
