Your Castle is brilliant, I never thought to use "that piece"
as a hole for a ladder to pass through! :o

And your armies are very tough looking,
I will be rooting for the Red Lion Knights! ;D

Great set-up, Erik !!!

Good "catch" on the Steck farm piece and ladder, WoT. And, Erik, thanks for the showing us another way to use Steck. !!!

Erik, your "Good Guys" look like GW's Bretonnia! And, everyone knows that the Bretonnian knights can really kick "buckets" in a battle!

I reall like the large catapult tower and well as most of you know , my army is primarily red lion knights and always good to see them in battle formation !!! Lovely Sir, thanks for sharing ~!!!

The battle has started-Part 1!

It was bound to happen...The Falcon knights, aided with the well payed Black bull mercenary troop, have attacked the castle of the Red lion knights...!!!I'll post pics, and I'll try to describe what's happening on them!

1.The Falcon knights have succeeded to roll a large siege tower against the outer wall of the castle, and now
try to take the wall, using the bridge of the tower!

2.The Lord of the castle however, has positioned himself on the wooden bridge too, aided with his trusty Captain of the guards, and together they pose a massive, iron-clad obstacle for the attackers!

3.In the meanwhile, the other Falcon knights are working the front gate, trying to weaken it so their massive heavy cavalry can bust through!

4.But the brave defenders give as good as they get, driving the attackers back time after time!

5.Some of the other Falcon knights try to find a weak spot in the defence, but the guards are watchfull!

6.The Black bull mercenaries have attacked another part of the castle, trying to spread the defenders thin...They have succeeded in putting some ladders up, and are now scurrying against the massive wall like an army of ants!Heavy fighting breaks out on the walls, as the defenders try to drive them back!

7.The Lady of the castle looks on with fear, she knows her and her handmaiden's fate is sealed if the castle is taken...Her only hope is a rider sent to her brother a few days before, with a message telling of the coming attack.Her brother and his men have been fighting for the King in various places over the years, and she hasn't seen him for a long time, but she still wears the colours of her family-yellow and black.

8.A lone longbowman, veteran of numerous fights and wars, has positioned himself on top of the keep, picking out his targets carefully, every arrow a kill.He swore to himself to defend the Lady of the castle till his last drop of blood!
