samurai wars peasants

The Japanese ashigaru were conscripted foot-soldiers of medieval Japan.....mostly landless peasants....farmers, fishermen forced into the wars between feuding lords (just like their western counterparts  :P )

The fur coats adds so much to their appearance. :)

I wish I had more, I could use them for
a few of my new customs... 8-)

Great customs, cheng.   :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:  The fur jackets and belts are a great touch, as is the choice of "weapons".  (They certainly don't look very happy about being "recruited".  I get the impression that an officer has just exited left!)

They really look great cheng! and like WoT I think those fur coats really is what pulls them together.
