Unusual klicky
« on: July 18, 2010, 22:56:00 »
I'm planning on having a 'Lucky Dip' for a klicky at our forthcoming exhibition and so over the past months having been buying odd lots of klickies to use.
As they've arrived I've put them in a box to sort out at a later date.
As the event is getting near I decided I needed to sort out what to sell and what to save.
This little fella emerged from the box ...

I can't remember which lot he came in but they have all come from the UK.
I wondered how often a faulty klicky gets through the checking system?
It must be my maternal instinct but I feel kind of sorry for him.  :-[
Needless to say he's staying with us!  :D

He may not be a faulty klicky as there have been klickies with hands like that in the past and they have been for balancing things on (I think).

The only set I can find him in is the 3120 horse andpony ranch and he has normal hands in that set.

30 10 1260 - Boy, green plaid shirt, blond hair

so I guess he is faulty, but could be useful!

How strange??? I've come across klickies that have unfinished boots or sleeves or sandals...but that one is indeed strange!
Good to know he is staying with you Elaine!!!

It suggests that the green hand is (normally) removed and replaced with a turning hand during the molding process, but I though the hand and arm were moulded at the same time.

Very odd, ceratinly worth keeping him for the rarety factor.

I had a black klicky like this and a klicky wine glass nicely balanced on his hand, so I assumed he was a waiter.  Also, I'm sure Martin is correct - hand and arm are a single injection process.

Additional note: there is a topic somewhere on PF on faulty klickies which may provide the answer to this.

Is the freaky hand able to turn, like a normal hand?

Bet he gets teased a lot at playmo school.

No it won't move at all.

I think he's a bit young for  wine!  ;D

I thought I'd seen something somewhere about faulty klickies, but when I did a search I couldn't find it - I may have been looking for the wrong thing.
