After a few days of continuous rain, England is living to its reputation and we never put aside our umbrellas for too long 

The weather is being unforgiving in Italy too, luckily there's Playmobil to keep us entertained. And I'm glad you managed to take some time off.

The building looked really good as it was, but the bricks really elevate it to a whole new level! You applied the cutouts seamlessly, your experience shows.

Good morning dear Friends 

I hope that you are all well.

The sun has reappeared on the banks of the Thames river today.

The more I look at this little town manor and the more it reminds me of Mr Banks residence of 17 Cherry Tree Lane in the original Mary Poppins movie 

Miss Periwinkle and Monsieur Firmin have their paint brushes ready and will start painting the building in three steps.

I am using HUMBROL Model Paints available in a wide variety of colours and in various finish such as mat, satin, gloss and metallic, all showing on the following colour palette :

I will use paint No121 in a stone colour mat finish for all the building frames and window frames :

Paint No41 in an ivory gloss finish to enhance certain embossed elements of the décor :

Paint No32 in a anthracite grey colour in mat finish for the roof slates :

I love this little building and I understand why 2 of our Klickywelt Friends have chosen it as a royal residence for their king 

Once steps two and three will be completed, I will invite you all to transformation of the building for the Halloween Party but I have said too much already
