Did you say Printies ?
As the world of miniatures is about re-creating real life décors and scènes, contemporary or from the past, at a smaller scale.
And I have learned over the years that a beautiful miniature scene is all about realistic détails introduced through carefully chosen accessories.
We have seen earlier in this thread that when it comes to wallpaper and flooring, the 1/12th scale is perfectly Playmocompatible and matches our scènes, whatever the chosen period to perfection and I provided with ideas of a selection of free printable wallpapers and floorings, which can be printed whenever you need them and add instant atmosphere to your scènes.
The same principle applies to items such as gift boxes, wall artwork and paintings, stained glass panels, shop signs, food signs and labels, decorative tiles, book covers and so on, which are all called "printies" and best of all are free !
Anyone who has tried to accessorize a scene with a printed artwork such as a real life painting or poster found for example through a Google search, knows how difficult it is to shrink the original picture so that it can fit a Playmobil scene or by extension a Miniature scene.
The great advantage of printies beyond the fact that they are all available online and free to print whenever you need them is that they are al already created to perfectly match the 1/12th scale !
Those of you who have seen the mini labels and signs showing on items around my victorian kitchen such as labels on jars & bottles, miniature magazines & newspapers, and even fruit labels on wooden crates, already know how realistic these printies are and how well the accessorize a scene, whether Victorian or not.
I will provide you this afternoon with a complete range of free "printies" to accessorize your own scènes

In the meantime, have a great day !
