Thanks, Chris.  I haven't, btw,forgotten about those parts - they're sitting on the side table in the study.  Unfortunately, problems related to age have been affecting both my m-in-l and the cat, and caused a lot of toing and froing between home, care homes and the vet's.  I'll try and get them to you in the coming week or so.

Just had to take my dog to the vet just for a check up. hope everything is fine with your m-in-l and cat. A;so take all the time you need family first and thank you for your help
